Tomorrow, as some of you may know, is a very special day for the Casa de Q - HAKKUNAH (also known as A Very Hanukkah Christmas).
Although there will be no Barbie Prom, and very LIMITED (Casey and Frenchie can suck it) screening of the Star Wars Christmas Special…..there’s still a goose thawing in my fridge.
Pictures to come - the food on such a night is….godly.
Ah yes, whatever troubles we face today….just knowing that there will be a Hakkunah Goose somewhere in my future…just…it just warms my cold, terrible heart.
Until then, I will cozy up next to the Hakkunah tree and give thanks to the Cosmic Owl for the semester being so very close to over.

Stanley & Sons for Nackymade
My Stanley & Sons apron draws many admirers - from Antonio Liverano who now has one for the kitchen in his Florentine home, to Naoki Nakagawa, maker of Nackymade Glasses.
This custom version for Nacky is in recycled pup tent cloth with canvas pockets and riveted leather straps. Nacky being a little guy has his made to measure - the bib sits high and the apron finishes at the knee.

there is an apron and bag maker who makes awesome natural veggie leather and canvas and denim pieces in chicago. i wish their name wasn’t failing me now, but i may be able to get behind the idea of a work apron. but i kinda like the simple use of jeans as an apron.
I am a big fan of the Apron. If it wouldn’t be so frowned upon - I’d wear one all the time.
